Judy creates jewelry and small sculpture in bronze and sterling silver using the lost wax casting process. While working wax is her great love, she occasionally works in enamel, watercolor, drawing, and ceramics. She also exhibits her work locally and regionally.

Judy earned a BFA in painting & MFA in metals from Bowling Green State University. She taught art at Northridge High School for 6 years before becoming a faculty member of the Goshen College Art Department. There she taught metals as well as a wide range of studio and lecture courses. Since retiring as an Associate Professor of Art Emerita she has helped establish the Goshen Jewelers Guild.
